Mom You are Bee Utiful!
Phew! I finished. I have been trying to get this done by end of the week. Mothers Day is around the corner and I was going back and forth on what to do with my little ones. Then I came up with this cute little pack.
This cute little set is perfect just for Mothers Day. A cute Bee craft will go great with writing prompts special just for your kiddies moms. The cute little bee holds a heart that says
"Dear Mom, You Are Bee-utiful". Grab this cute little pack now and be all set for mothers day!

I love this one. Its so cute and I feel like the kids could really have fun with the fill ins. I predict this being really funny with my little ones trying to figure out moms age!
I have a few of these for my little ones to pick out the perfect letter for mom. So cute and perfect for them. =)

I think this could be totally sweet for my students to fill out. Gives them a chance to think about what their moms can do.

Mom Jeans Murals
Ive got a big ole crush on Phillys Mural Arts Program. One thing my out-of-town friends say when they visit is how surprised they are to see these humongous pieces of art everywhere. I love em too, especially when they pop up in the unlikeliest of places. This mural in Fishtown by MOMO is one of my current favorites. (You can find it over on Frankford + Berks!)
Now that its warm again, Danielle and I try to stop and take pictures at every piece of street art we pass on our journeys. (Even if its just a little iPhone photo!) It gets me more excited to walk places rather than driving. (I see what you did there, city art program.)

My Mom
My Mom
This year, for my Moms birthday she said I shouldnt get her anything. So I listened to her and instead made myself something instead. I made this. This is a digital painting I made of my Mom tonight. Her name is Grace and she means the world to me. I love you Mom, happy birthday.

This is the second in a series of paintings Im working on for my mom. Originally, these were going to be for her birthday/mothers day (which are two weeks apart), but I decided to take my time and deliver them in installments. Here she is on her porch with her dog, where you can find her on most summer mornings...
There was absolutely no way that I could work this into the Illustration Friday topic of "Emergency", so maybe I will do something quick for that and try to get it up within the next couple of days. Im going home for a couple weeks on Friday (hooray!) so hopefully that means I will have a lot more time to draw and doodle and make pretty things to post. Or I could be lazy and do nothing. Ill try to find a happy medium somewhere.
