Nostra and Terrence are running yet another relay race, and this time, were putting people in jail. The premise, in their own words:
It’s time to put some movie people in jail. The object is to give a prosecutor’s argument as to why these movie people belong in “Movie Jail” whether it be for violating the integrity of the content source of one their films, or being a sell-out, just making bad movies overall, getting worse as time goes on or not being in a good movie for many years.Previous entries:
The baton will be passed to another blogger who will have to do the following:
In order to free someone from Movie Jail they have to do 2 things
1 – Give a defense attorney argument defending the plaintiff
2 – Pay bail: the cost of which is another case for the court and a prosecutor’s argument against the actor/director of their choice that will replace the one set free.
There must always be 10 people in Movie Jail.

Im not really sure of why Clint Eastwood is on here. I mean, hes not my favourite, but he has made some damn good movies and hes a true icon. Sure, Hereafter and J. Edgar werent very inspiring, and while I really disliked the former, I dont think theyre really jail worthy films. Plus, Im a huge fan of Mystic River and a slew of his other films (although I do need to see some more). But I guess he can be ridiculed for that chair-talking thing.
Who Im throwing in:
How in lords name is Adam Sandler not on this list? Hes literally the worst thing to happen to cinema. In 2011, he graced us with Jack and Jill, which saw a new career low: once men start dressing up as women for comedic effect, you know theyre going downhill, but this was far worse than anything Eddie Murphy could do. And then there was Thats My Boy, which may as well be one of the most offensive movies ever. He is just beyond terrible.
So Ill hand this one over to Josh at The Cinematic Spectacle - lets see who survives.
